In 2023, HBCUGO approached Ranger & Fox to pitch a new graphics package that would span their full slate of sports coverage, most notably college football and basketball. There was a strong push for a fully 3D solution, so we evolved the previous flat, distressed look into a more premium, glossy 3D system, building on the foundation of the original package.

Given the scope of the project, Steve Panicara and I split responsibilities. Steve led the development of the "wraparound" package—handling the large-scale 3D elements—while I focused on the insert package, where the emphasis was on information hierarchy and layout.
For football, we had the opportunity to design a new dimensional scoreboard that could integrate across the entire graphics system, allowing for longer transitions and full-bar transform states. Basketball, with its faster pace, required a different strategy—one that prioritized keeping key information visible at all times.
Once football wrapped and the core design language had been established, I stepped in to lead both the insert and wraparound packages for basketball, ensuring visual and functional continuity across the board.
